With mantis claw, it is really easy to quickly get all of them. It contains 600 geo, a Hallownest Seal, and an overrated charm.Ī bunch of relics are hidden about the Fungal Wastes. When defeated, the mantises will become friendly and let you into their treasure room. If you don't want to spend geo on the charm (which is a bad idea because the charm is insanely good) or you need more health for the fight, there is a lifeblood cocoon you can use by wall-jumping and breaking a breakable wall on the top left side of the Mantis Lords' arena. They are a really tough boss for newer players, but can be beaten relatively easily especially with the Fragile Heart charm. The only boss in Fungal Wastes are the Mantis Lords (excluding Elder Hu like always). The others are blocked behind late-game accessories. There are only two available when you enter the Fungal Wastes for the first time though. The smaller nodes give about half as much. The geo deposits in the Fungal Wastes are slightly better than the ones in Greenpath giving roughly 35 geo per fungal node. One is on the left path towards the Howling Wraiths while the other requires Isma's Tear. There are two Hallownest Seals in Fog Canyon. This will give you close to 10,000 geo! If you give her less than 4500 geo and she runs away, you will get less geo back. Once you get there, you go up the elevator to the sauna and smack her around with your nail for five to ten minutes. To get your geo back, you need access to the right side City of Tears and a simple key to open the door leading to her. If you give the full 4500 geo to her, she will steal your geo and run away to the Pleasure House in the right side City of Tears. She sets up shop to the left of Queen's Station and when you talk to her, she will offer to "bank" your geo so you can pick it up later. Millibelle the Banker is the most ravenous of enemies and perhaps one of the most unintuitive ways of making money out there. There are no worthwhile geo deposits in Fog Canyon. The relics in Greenpath require abilities the player doesn't have yet (unless you can fireball skip), so they are skipped for now. On a normal playthrough, you could get all three without a problem. If you continue to the left, there will be a chest with a bit of geo in it as well. When defeated, it gives the player 200 geo. This dash can be used to get to the Massive Moss Charger in the bottom middle of Greenpath. The geo that some of the moss knights guard is worth a lot more than regular geo nodes going up to about 45 per node.ĭefeating Hornet awards the player with no geo, but gives them a dash. The fool eaters hide by geo and relics waiting for someone to come by while the moss knights are scattered about the latter half of Greenpath guarding routes, geo, and a grub. Fool eaters give 10-15 geo per kill and moss knights give 45 per kill. The only enemies that are decent money makers in Greenpath are the larger enemies: fool eaters and moss knights. The geo deposits in Greenpath are better than the ones in the Crossroads giving about 25-30 geo per node instead of 15. ![]() It is gotten by climbing the well with the mantis claw and hence cannot be gotten before Fungal Wastes. To my knowledge, there is only one relic in the Crossroads (not counting the grub rewards). ![]() If you save all five of them, you can get a mask shard plus a bit of geo for free before going to Greenpath. ![]() They don't serve much of a purpose money-wise until the mid-game, but they are cute and you should still save them. ![]() There are five grubs in the Forgotten Crossroads. The False Knight's geo is indirect and gotten by opening the chest by the arena you fight him in though. The other one is in the top right corner of the Crossroads guarding a grub.īoth the Gruz Mother and the False Knight are great sources of geo in the early game giving 100 and 200 geo respectively. One can be found in the middle of the Crossroads on the way to the False Knight. They may be tanky and heavy hitters, but for 45 geo per kill I think they are worth 30 seconds of your time. The only great enemy to kill for geo in the crossroads is the husk guard. At the end of the day, they make very little difference in your wallet, and can be skipped if need be. There are a LOT of geo deposits in the Crossroads.
